Saving...
cure getting ready for the two weeks to come. We stayed at a really sweet place, which I’m sending you a picture of on the postcard. We sure had thought luck on our phone call, didn’t we? I was afraid of just that. I tried for two hours Thurs. night and the operator told me it would be another half an hour so I gave up. Fri it only took me about 15 minutes. How much did it cost? Honest. We more or less review everything we’ve had this week. Today we studied rifles and had drill on the parade ground. Tonight we have another blamed alert so I guess I’ll be running over the hill pretty quick. I’m sitting on my bunk waiting for the whistle to blow. Many thanks for the $6.00 dad but I really didn’t need it. Payday is tomorrow so don’t worry about my money. I’ll pay for the watch.
