Saving...
I got eight oranges for myself. Not bad huh? At night the coyotes sit around on these hills and howl like heck. I've only seen one though. I'm having quite a time shaving out here. I've managed to shave, bruch my teeth and take a good drink of water all out of my canteen and still have it half full. Boy is that squeezing things. Cold water to shave with isn't so bad. So far I haven't had a bit of trouble with my face and have shaved every day. It sure surprised me after using an electric razor so long. Use a steel helmet for washing. I'll see about the camp paper when I get in, dad. I don't know what to do with the pictures to keep from breaking them. I don't need a thing yet dad. Thanks anyway. My Indian friend is still here. We are in the same plt. and sleep in ajoining bunks. It is Sun. now & have eaten breakfast. Got a letter from Mom and Marg. I guess everyone is wondering why I don't write. I guess this takes . care of everything for now so will close and write some of the others. I may not get to write again for awhile so don't worry about me. Maybe I can make carbon copies from this. Love Carroll
