Sept 21 Dear Folks, I guess the time has finally arrived for me to leave Camp Roberts. The rumor is that we leave this coming Sat. Where to, I don't know for sure but there is also a rumor on that. It seems that we might land at Wyoming or Idaho [??]. I have no idea if that is right or wrong. It it is it will be quite a bit closer home so it won't be so far for you to come if you do try to make a trip to see me. I've been writing cards all evening telling everyone to stop writing to me until they heard from me. This goes for you to. I guess they don't want to bother forewarding mail on to us. I'm at the service club with a bunch of the fellows. I think we may go to the late show to celebrate the good news of our leaving. Sure hope the bunch sticks together. Haven't been doing much this week. I guess they are just filling
