Saving...
in time. We have drill on the parade ground. We have been having clothing inspections every day so far. I guess they are getting us all set to leave. Haven't heard anything from my pen & razor so I've about given them up. We have a big farewell party tomorrow night. We whipped up a one-horse band and everything. We had one the middle of the cycle which was really alot of fun. I thought I would surprise you with a picture of myself. The one painted one is for you. I sort of planned on keeping the other painted one for myself unless you can think of anything better to do with it. The two plain ones I don't care what you do with them. They are oil painted. How do you like the hair do. That is the way [Thorpe's?] always wanted me to fix the darn stuff. I'll bet it would tickle them to see it that way. I didn't think the picture was too bad or too good. What do you think? I also sent a painted one to Margret and Kay. I suppose I'll be hearing about that one of these days.
