Sept 28 Dear Folks, I'm on the train so you will have to excuse this writing. It sure is jumpy. We just passed through Los Angles a few minutes ago. I suppose you are wondering where we are headed for. We are going to Wyoming University at Laramie, Wy. That is about half way on the way home. I don't know when we get there but I think probably Thurs. We are taking the long route as usual in the army. Our bunch is pretty well broken up but there are still several of the bunch I ran with here. Bill is not with us. Frank Powers, Bob Merriam, Bill McDonald & I are the only S.A.E's. Never the less we still have a good bunch which really helps. We left Roberts at 7:45 last night. We traveled awfully slow last night but we are really making time now. Hope we get to see some new country. Thats the reason I was
