Saving...
hoping to go the northern route. What a change in temperature this is going to be. I guess its colder than heck in Wyoming now and after we've been in this heat all summer. Some of the fellows are going to write to Rubio so you forward their letters on to me please. I also am having one of the mail my laundry bag for me. I didn't get time. Got a box of candy from Margret yesterday. I was darned good too. If you do decide to come out and see me you won't have to far to come now will you? I think its only about a 14 hr. trip to Iowa City from there. I don't know when I'll get a chance to mail this but I thought I'd better let you know where I'm at. It been quite awhile since I've written you but there was alot of work to be done. More darned clothing inspections. If you don't mind I'll close for now and start watching for some good scenery. Bye now. Love Carroll
