Saving...
Sept 30-43 Dear Folks, Here I am in the wild west a raring to go. The old army routine is still with us. March, march, thats all we did today for classes don't start until Oct 11th. What alot of work its going to be when the do. I don't know how I can ever swing it. They start us out on College Math, chemistry, Physics English, plus a bunch of other stuff. That just isn't down my line. I steared clear of it all along then they give it to me all at once. It makes me sick to think about it. We are a bit disheartened by the outlook of things. One good thing about it is that we have nice quarters. We are living in a girls dorm. Three off the fellows I run around with are in the same room. Nice huh? The campus is very pretty with trees and things. I don't know much about the town yet but it looks about the size of Washington. The weather is wonderfully cool. Just the way I like it. We are setting on top of a mountain at the elevation of 7,000 ft.
