Saving...
Oct 3, 1943 Dear Folks, I guess Sun. is the day for writing here also so here goes for a few lines. It is about 11:00 Sun morning at present. I just got back from taking a walk. My roomates and I went out to a stables to rent a horse and take a ride. I guess the horses broke lose last night so we didn't get one. Who knows, maybe I'll turn cowboy while I'm here. It would have been sort of fun. Yesterday was just another day. We drilled in the morning and in the afternoon we played games. Sure feels good to get a little relaxation once in awhile. Last night we went on a show seeing spree. We went to a double feature and then stayed for a midnight show. Got to bed at 2:00 but we didn't have to get up until 8:00. Boy, am I ever glad to here that I have a razor coming. It will certainly work fine here. My face is getting sore from shaving so much around here to.
