Saving...
Oct. 8, 1943 Dear Folks, Fri. night and I'm at the Union writing letters. They never seem to end. I'm afraid they will pretty well slow down when studies start. I haven't been doing much lately. We still play games in the forenoons and drill in the afternoons. Today we took about a three mile hike which was nothing. Without all the junk to carry it was almost like floating. Thurs night my roomates and I went to another movie. We get in our share don't we? I guess we don't do anything tonight. Do you have any idea when you are coming out? They made us quite playing football because too many fellows were getting hurt. I guess there was a broken ankle, sprained wrists and etc.
