Saving...
I have a list of what I'm going to study. College Algebra; Self [Revised?] World Atlas; Democratic Traditions in America; Growth of U.S; Introduction to Economic Geography; Introduction to College Chemistry, College Physics; Principles of Speech; Trigonometry; We Hold These Truths. I guess that about covers them. They moved two more guys into our room. It sort of broke up our happy group but can't be helped. The one that broke his nose is about ok now. He still has two black eyes. I bought my shoes today. I got a good buy I think. They are Pre-war shoes with good leather in them and good leather soles. Only cost me $7.00 to. I'm very well satisfied. I'm wearing them tonight and they don't bother me like I thought they would. Its darned hard to write anything when we do the same thing every day. The other fellows went down town but I stayed here. I can't write letters and go to town both. I'll close for now. This is short but nevertheless it covers all thats happened. Good night. Love Carroll
