Oct 12, 1943 Dear Folks, Just a line to let you know I'm ok. I have to start studying in a few minutes for thats when study hours start. Yes mom, those subjects have me scared and they also have me working plenty. Anyone who would take a course like this on his own hook would be nuts. I've never been so messed up in my life. They start right out in every thing like we knew it all. That Math, Physics and Chem are the worst. Only two days gone by and I'm working like mad already. Enough for my work. Today was terrible. The wind blew like heck and it spit snow for awhile. Quite a change from Calif. We like to froze. I have a terrible cold and sore throat. I'm glad you liked those pictures so
