Dear Folks, It is nearly time for lights out but I have something on my mind of which I want to get rid of. I asked Kay if she wanted a ring and she does. I had her ask her mothers and she thinks its ok. We want to know what you think of it. I called her Sunday and we had quite a talk about it. We don't know when we'll get together again but when we do I'd like very much to give her a ring. Maybe you think we are jumping the gun, but I don't think so. We have a pretty good idea of what we are doing. We both want it this way very much but I'm waiting to hear from you before we say anymore about it. You know how I feel now so I'll wait until I hear from you. We can also talk it over when you get here. I had to write this in a hurry so it
