Oct 22, 1943 Dear Folks, I have my Math done for tomorrow so will see what I . can think to write about. I just finished a letter to Ken. I got five letters today which means alot to answer. Sure, I don't see why you can't get those pictures from Roberts. They keep the proofs for about 5 months just for that reason. As far as a place to stay is concerned, I don't think you'll have much trouble. There is a place here where most of the fellows folks stayed and it seemed to be alright. I'm glad to hear the Mo. folks got to come up. I really didn't expect them to make it. To bad the fish wouldn't cooperate. I had two tests today. One is History and one in Chemistray. Not a minutes peace. Only two weeks gone by to. Yes, we are supposed to get a furlough at the end of each term but you have to pass every subject. With Physics and Math pulling me down I'm not making any plans. It is awfully easy not to make it.
