I haven't heard from Ken this sk. It's the first time that's happened since I've been in the army. He must be busy or something. Did Rose write me while she was in Rubio. I never got a letter from her. You mentioned her writing in one of your letters. I though something might have happened This should be good news. My watch was stolen last week. I'm darned near sick about it. The damned Sgts. won't do a thing to try and help find it. It's too late now to do much. It's raining out and it looks like it might last for awhile. I've got seven more letters that have to be answered tonight. I'm afraid none of them will be very long ones. We have the radio going and it reminds me of Sun. evening at home, those few that I spent there. I'm getting pretty blue again for some reason. I always do on the weekend any more. I have too much time to think of other things when I'm not working all the time. I said last time that my letters were getting worse and I haven't changed. Maybe I'll snap out of this mood before long. Love, Carroll
