Sunday July 30 Dear Folks, I just came back from the afternoon movie and I have to write a few letters now. I'd been writing all morning so I took a rest and went to the movie. It was pretty good. I still have give letters to write. I'll start with Friday and catch up with the news. Friday morning we had some more tatics and in the after I hauled coal. It was a good change even if it was hauling coal. We drove around to the different mess halls and filled their coal bins. It wasn't bad at all. That night we took a nine mile forced march and made it in less than two hours. You can see we traveled better than 4-1/2 per hours which isn't bad with all the junk we carried. It was hot even if it was night and our clothes
