weekend. I hope you can read this as I'm writing fast and I'm using a scratch pen. Sat. we went out and had a weapons platoon test. It was darned hard work for I had to run all over the place carrying the mortar. This lasted for about two hours and I was nearly dead. The problem was that we were to keep close behind the riflemen as they carried out an attack. We were to keep moving foreword behind them and fire over their heads. We were using really shells to. After it was all over the judging officers gave the mortar section superior, but the machine guns didn't do so good. It was a good problem at any rate. As I said I collected $20 for the watch already. I don't know what
