Saving...
Jan 16, 1944 Dear Folks, Here it is Sunday night already. The weekends sure fly by compared to the rest of the week. I thought this week would never end. It doesn't seem possible that it was only a week ago that I was home. It seems like months to me. I told you about my moving didn't I? Well, we did it again. I still have one of my same room mates but I lost the others. We had just gotten settled then they pull this on us. No need to tell you we were a bit disgusted. I now have a new address. I rented a box at the union with a couple of the fellows so we wouldn't have to wait around for mail calls. It only costs about a dime a month. Its on the outside. My pen just ran out of ink so I now have a slightly different color. It hasn't been nearly so cold the last few days. In fact its been pretty nice.
