Jan 25, 1944 Dear Folks, I have a vacant period this morning so I'll try and write a few lines. There isn't a great deal to talk about. I guess I told you I went out for the basketball team didn't I? That set up at the garage looks pretty good to me. I remember when you talked about sticking the safe through the wall before, That was the best thing of all. The darned safe is big enough for a room of it's own. As far as finding things you didn't know you had, I remember a few days like that when Ken and I had the job of invoicing. I can just picture Uncle Johnny beating on that can while that nut was trying to sing. If I remember correctly, I believe the can would sound better than his singing. Too bad Richland got beat. It might do them some good for they were way to cocky to begin with. Thanks dad, my money is ok. We got payed at the end of this month so I'll have a little coming. Yes, I still live in the same building as before. Just a different room. My room mates are ok. The worst thing now is the fact that I never get ti see the gang except on weekends or
