Feb 4 Dear Folks, I just got back from my last class of the day. Another weekend is almost here again. I stopped by the post office and I had a letter from you. I thought maybe I'd better get it answered. Those pictures were really swell in my estimation. Much better than usual. By the way, Virginia Johnson, Maxene [Reighard?], and Eva Jean Johnson have written me wanting a snapshot for some sort of album. I didn't have any, but I promised them one. Would you have a few more made of the one by myself. I think its the only one by myself in the bunch. When you get them send them out if you please. They were sure good. I wouldn't take anything for that one of you two and myself, but they were all good. I suppose you've heard by now that Kay quit training. I imagine I was nearly surprised as you. She said she was coming to Iowa last Tues. but I haven't heard from her since before then. Guess thats about all there is to be said about that. Glad you are getting your shells fixed up. It sounds like it will be pretty nice.
