Nov 9, 1945 My dearest Carroll, Hi darling! Here I am back & what a time. The train was supposed to leave Brighton at 3:10 but didn't leave till 5:40. So I got to [Geneseo?] around 9:30. I was going to sleep awhile but I had a most wonderful letter from you so when I got thru reading it several time & the kids drifting in & out I didn't sleep. I'm on duty & it's now 3:15 AM & so far I haven't been one bit sleepy. Miracles will never
