gency surgery come in. The operating [force?] were in Davenport shopping so we took over till they got back. Guess they got to spend the whole of 15 minutes there & no longer. Have they been on the war path since! It has warmed up some today & tonite it's raining. Just slow & easy. So a person can sleep real good. But sitting listening to it makes me so lonesome and for only one person darling and that's you. To have you hold me in your arms and to talk to you. Could anything be more wonderful! I'll answer that too -- nothing could match it.
