Dec 4. 1945 My dearest Carroll, Hi darling! Just got off duty + it was a rather busy nite. We had a delivery + stuff like that- always keeps you stepping what with the father pacing up and down in the hall. I'm going to work 7-3 for my last day here. Dotty wanted me to go to the show so that I would Is the "Dolly Sisters" + they say it's very good But to try + catch up on the news I shall try Mon. I got up around 10:00 cuz Loretta woke me up + wanted to go down town. We shopped around for awhile + came back for dinner. After dinner I started to pack + clean up the room. Was getting so we couldn't get our [or] in + had to do something. We weren't very busy Mon nite until about 10:00 som [pto?] came in got that taken care of in short order.
