press it. There are no boundaries. I haven't heard from the folks this wk. Got some clean clothes etc. from Mom. Tomorrow nite is an [illegible] Xmas party & Wed. is a staff party. Right up [with] the aristrocrats now. More fun. Still don't like to eat at the staff table but I do cuz they drag me in -- against my better wishes. Did abit more Xmas shopping today. Have a clever little book to send you. Wish I could wrap myself & send me along too. Just to be in your arms to talk to you. How I'd love to be near you. It would be absolute heaven. I miss you & love you so very very much. I have Sat off this wk. Ruth wants me to come over. Dave's mother is in Ames so she's chief cook & bottle washer. Guess I'll go down & keep her company. The Dr. told her she'd still be here for new years eve. They didn't like that cuz they're getting so anxious. My room is a mess again. I have a 3:30 tomorrow so I'm going to clean it from top to
