off cleaning the place & putting up the Xmas tree. It really is beautiful. No lights have burned out yet -- thank heavens! We're very poor electricians. We had a fire built in the fireplace & it was so cozy & nice. All the comforts of home. Maybe so for some people but never for me until you get home. That's all that counts [with] me. I love you darling from the very bottom of my heart. You mean everything to me darling. I'm so happy. Yesterday, I heard from Jo. She said she was so happy for both of us but abit envious. I've so much to be proud of -- you are wonderful honey, and I love you deeply. Heard from Mom today. She said Mrs B said Al was to be home for Xmas & is being married on Mon I think.
