Saving...
to. Mom sold the piano & did that surprise me. We finally got to bed about 1:30 & up at 6:00 AM to see Dad off. Went back to bed for a short nap & then I got up & did a washing. Went uptown & did a few errands. Went to Bridgers for lunch & then Jo & I sat & talked all P.M. She's still in [Clio?] & likes it pretty good. She & Wilma really look swell. They said to be sure & tell you hi! & congratulated us. They said I looked as tho I were bubbling over [with] happiness & I told them I was most definitely & you were why. Went up to [Hob's?] tonite to get Mom & I some ice cream. More kids there I hadn't seen in years. [Kieth H. Kermit?], Bobby Tucker Jr. [Hattie?], Donnie H. Mary K's crowd. Squeak & Betty Smith. Cecil & Marian Bray. All inquired about you. Everytime they did my eyes just sparkled. I just know. I was good to see so many people back & all but it wasn't complete.
