Sept 18, 1945 My dearest Carroll, Hi darling! How are you tonite? You know, I'm lonesome and for just one thing -- know who it is -- you honey. I miss you so very much darling. Just wait till you get home darling then see my dust fly. I'll make up for all this waiting the Army thinks is best. And darling no matter what happens I'll be waiting for you loving you more & more every day. Our chance is coming darling and soon. I just know it is. And it will all be so wonderful. Honey, I've been thinking alot about what we want to do. Do you want it to be a double-ring ceremony or not? I'd like it to be. What do you think darling? If we have it all pretty well
