to you how very much I love you. I wrote to Rose yesterday. Heard from Mr. too. He & Mick are very disgusted [with] the Navy. From what they say the U.S. is going to be rather [wild? mild?] after they get back. I can imagine! It won't be the U.S. that is wild when you get back it will be me, believe me! It has rained all day. Type of weather that makes one dreamy. Better say good nite & sleep tite till tomorrow darling. Hope I have some news. There's no better way to say it than I love you. I'll always love you -- you're so darn wonderful. Goodnite honey & dream of me a little. All my love, Evelyn
