love to listen to the rain pound on the roof. It makes everything so peaceful. The radio in the next room is really coming through with some swell music. The "Ink Spots" one singing now. Makes me so darned lonesome and homesick honey. Darling, darling, I love you so terribly much. Every little thing I see or hear seems to remind me of you. Darling, if I'm not in love with you, there never was any such thing as love. You are on my mind constantly. Each day I love you more and become more and more homesick. Its hard waiting darling, but think what it would have been like if the war were still going on. The worrying and wondering would [much?] worse than it is now. Thats what I tell myself when I start feeling blue about not getting
