Nov 4, 1945 My dearest Evelyn, Hi darling! Another Sunday and what a dreary day it has been. Its been trying to rain all day, but somehow hasn't. It is really a day to stay in the house. As much as I like to play football, I'm glad we didn't have a game today. Frankly, I've only been out of the house twice today and that was for dinner and supper. I guess this is what you'd call a typical fall day. Just finished a letter to the folks darling. Its getting along about 10:00 but what the heck, I always sleep late anyway. Some of the fellows just stopped in the room. They'd been to a show. I didn't go
