Saving...
Nov 9, 1945 My dearest Evelyn, Hiya darling! I'm sorry about the delay in writing darling. I was going to write last night, but we had a little accident here at the hotel and I couldn't. We blew a fuse and all the lights went out so I just up and went to bed. Honey, as you know, I've only been writing every other night lately. I just couldn't think of enough news to write each night. As I said before, all I do is play football and sleep so there really isn't much news. do you mind too much honey? You've been so very wonderful about writing that I hate to let you down in anyway if I can help it.
