The weather has been terrible here the past few days. The sun never seems to shine and it rained again last night. The field was so muddy today that we could hardly practice. Of course, I don't mind a rest once in a while. Sure hope this weather breaks before Sunday. Darling, I had two letters today. One from you and one from Dad. Both were postmarked Oct 29. That was pretty good wasn't it? How I look forward to your letters honey. they are about the only thing that can make things seem pleasant in this army. Darling, I'm so very happy and
