Your farewell parties must have been quite the occasion darling. I can picture it without too much trouble. That is, if they are like most of them. A big rumor has been going around that the city water supply is to be shut off for two or three days so we have taken some precautions. All of us have buckets, steel helmets and pans filled with water. Really quite a deal. Boy is it cold in here tonight. The old guy we had firing the furnace must have gone to sleep cuz there certainly isn't any heat. I'm in one of the fellows room writing so I can listen to the radio.
