written Nov 3. That's still pretty slow for mail. Silly darling, how wonderful your letters are. Yours are always so full of life and love. Makes mine seem of dull and uninteresting. Believe me honey, I look forward to your letters. Just a few words from you can give me courage and patience. A little from you makes me realise what a happy ending one can have for all this worrying and waiting. Darling, I was very surprised to hear about the drug store being sold. In Dad's letter today, he also told me about it. I really don't know what to say honey. I can imagine how you felt.
