Dec 3, 1945 My Dearest Evelyn, Hi darling! There are so many ways I could start this letter but first I want to tell you that I love you very much. Honey, everything has turned out wrong for the last week. Nothing seemed to work out right. Darling, you won't get my two letters before this one. Here is why. The guy I gave them to lost them on the way to mail them. Lord knows how he could do it. I just found out about it tonight. I can't think of too much that was in those letters.
