Vienna, Austria Dec 18, 1945 My Dearest Evelyn, Hiya darling! Here it is, one of those awfully lonesome nights again. I guess they will all be that way until I get home to you Evelyn. Darling, I miss you more than you can possibly guess. You are on my mind constantly. The moon is out tonight and it must be full from the looks of it. Its a very beautiful night to say the least. I won't say a good night cuz it can't be good until I'm home with you. Evelyn darling, I don't know how to express my love the way it should be.
