Saving...
Then Bill and I went down town. Stopped in for some ice cream and then went to meet a French girl. Now don't take me wrong darling. I told you once before about this fellow meeting this French woman and I went with him one night. Well, she was going to Paris on leave so he had her bring us some things back with her. Honey, I'm sending you some perfume and a silk scarf. It isn't much and it isn't near as much as I'd like to send you, but its all I could get. I'm telling you so you can let me know it it does or doesn't get there. I'll get it mailed next week sometimes. I only wish it were more darling.
