Saving...
March 3, 1946 My Dearest Evelyn, Hi darling! Two more days gone by and how many more to go? Thats all I can think about, how long will it be until I'm home with Evelyn. Darling, I miss you so terribly much. There is still no definite news as to when the next group leaves, but everyone thinks it will be this week sometime. However, they think only 34 months service will go and I won't have that for 8 more days. Darling, I'm hoping and praying with everything in me that it will be 33 months. If not I'll have to stick around here for a week or so longer. Ordinarly a week wouldn't seem long, but it does seem that way
