a Man" and was just a time killer. Came back and ate supper then went to see Bill. We went downstairs to the movie in the evening and it was "Lost Weekend." I know you saw it cuz I got a letter today saying you had seen it. The acting was very good. Messed around a while then went to bed. This morning was just another rainy and dull affair. In the afternoon, I took a stroll for no particular reason except I was tired of sitting around. I went on duty at 5:00 in the evening and stayed on until 12:00. Two of us rode in a jeep and watched for traffic violators.
