Honey, the army just isn't making any provisions for young fellows like us. They seem to be trying to get everyone but us out of the army. They try to stop the draft, let married men out, guys over 35 and etc. Maybe we are the ones to get stuck, but they aren't considering our side at all. We've got to start a life yet and these older guys and married men have gotten there start. Darling, I feel just like a trapped animal must feel. You're so darned helpless. Enough of that, I thought I wouldn't be like that in at least one letter. Guess I gripe too much. But if those ding danged Congressmen were in my shoes they'd think a little harder now.
