Sept 12, 1945 My Dearest Evelyn, Hi honey! Just finished dinner and ecided I'd write you. That is one reason I'm writing, but there is another. Darling, I received a letter from you this morning and one thing you said rather surprised me. It was the part asking if you had said something that kept me from writing. Honey, don't ever think that cuz nothing you could say would keep me from writing you. I don't know what ever gave you that idea. Darling, you know how very much I love you.
