Saving...
I've eaten and taken a shower. Sure feels good to settle down again. Honey, I'm afraid I won't get much sleep tonight. Here is my sad story. I go on guard at midnight and get off at 4:00 in the morning. That isn't so bad but I have to get up at 5:00 to get ready for a parade. We leave here at 6:00 and ride fifty miles in a truck to where the parade is held. Have to come back then which will be about 2:00 P.M. If I'm lucky, I might get one hours sleep, but I doubt very much if that will do me much good. And we thought a midnight picnic was rough darling. Lawdy, lawdy! Had a letter from you two days
