four o'clock. I'm fire guard on the highest hill around camp and boy does that cold wind blow up there. I go on again at midnite until 4:00 in the morning. I'm sure going to take a blanket and overcoat up there with me tonight. There is a wild card game going on over at the next bed. The guys are playing "Fantan," I think. No mail at all this morning honey. I wasn't too disappointed cuz I can't expect it every day. sure makes me feel wonderful when it does come though. We drew our overcoat, wool sweaters and wool caps today. They are getting us ready for those Austrian mountains I guess. If this weather keeps up we'll need them
