Got a few letters again this morning. Sure don't know what happened to the mail service. Had a V-mail from Ken. First I'd heard from him in three weeks. Guess he has been busy as you probably already know. I can't answer any of your questions about my future for I just don't know. It seems as though the army delights in keeping a guy in hot water. There isn't a darn thing in the way of news. All I do around here is eat, sleep and pull guard. This is just another way of saying that my letters will no doubt be short. I guess it is better all the way round now that Sam Johnson died. She certainly led a dogs life while he was living We are having another of our dust
