Saving...
Also I got the ann. cake ok. It was still in good shape. Got it about six weeks or so ago, but I must have forgotten to mention it. Got your June 28th letter two days ago mom and your June 22nd today. Mixed up aren't they? Haven't heard from Ken, but once in over a month. That was a V-mail at that. I guess he must be pretty busy with replacements now. Glad my rifle got home ok. I was afraid it would take much longer than it did. Mom, I sent home a gallon can of sea shells about two weeks ago. They came from La Baule, France. I picked them up off of a mined beach. Not only that, but they traveled through Belgium and Germany and back here with me. What a time I had juggling them around.
