show then came right back. I see by the paper where out battle ships shelled Japan. That is sure good news. I hope they get started on them good and proper one of these days. I'm sticking in some tiny pictures we took while we were on line. I'll number the picture and tell you about it on this paper. (1) Just one of the old farm houses we stayed in for awhile. The guns were set up around behind. (2) Same as no. 1 but a different angle. You can see what kind of weather we were having by the mud and water. (3) Me, with butch hair cut and all. That is the knife Ken sent me. (4) We used the tower for an observation post for our mortars. By the way, a dud went right through the roof when some guys were up there. Don't think they didn't clear out.
