Speaking of Evelyn mom, I have a job for you. Unless I'm mistaken I still have a painted picture of myself not in use around home someplace. You know which one I mean. The one taken in Calif. I want you to send it to her. If I haven't got one there which is painted don't send one. Thats my idea, not hers. I suppose you want to know why all this now? It all starts way back to that midnight picnic we went on while I was home. Its progressed plenty since then. In fact, it enters into my post war plans. I think you will agree that she is a swell girl and fits in alot better than Kay ever did. Right? In fact, i always had doubts about how Kay stood with the family. I want to know how you feel
