I guess the army just doesn't work that way. I could harly expect it though. He is calling again tonight to see if I can make it. Sure wish I could, but I can't do it. We played another ball game last week. I told you the league had closed, but this was not a league game. Our Capt. got us a game with the Normandy Base Champions. We went into Marseille to play the game. No one thought we had a chance, but believe it or not we won 4 to 3. They were really surprised and so were we. It was the first time we'd played in about a month. I didn't get a hit, but I did do some fair fielding. I keep looking for that cable to come along. Surely won't be much longer to wait. I sure thought
