were warming up I sprained my bad ankle again. Naturally I didn't get to play. We lost anyway. We go back tonight. and I should be able to play some. I've got my ankle pretty well taped. The boys started celebrating the other night when they thought the war was over and eight guys got hurt. They got shot by some fool shooting up the place. Think I'd better dig a foxhole just in case they start again. Haven't done a thing, but stand guard. Pretty dull life to say the least. Rained like the very devil the other night. Rained for four hours so hard you could hardly see. The tents that didn't have a floor really flooded. The guys shoes were floating in about six inches of water right in the tent. It was
