war was over. All we could hear was how the people in the States were going wild and celebrating. I didn't hear one noise here. Everyone was just too busy wondering what happened next and when they would get home. Got Ken's co-op letter couple days ago. That is really a time saver. My ankle is getting better, but it is still pretty weak. Hurts if I walk very much on it. Got the other can of carbide yesterday. Stationery was in good shape. I'll have plenty of carbide now. Its hotter than heck here today. Rained some yesterday and that makes it all the hotter. Just finished dinner. Had our usual Sunday chicken for dinner. Wasn't bad.
