your birthday somehow. I guess I just didn't look in my little book at the right time What reminded me was what Ken said in his last letter Im sorry Dad but I;m going to go right ahead and wish you a Happy Birthday even though it is late. I'll try to do better next time Maybe I'll be home next time so it won't be so hard to remember. Sure was swell that you got that picture to Evelyn personally I can't begin to tell you how happy I was to hear how you all felt about Evelyn. I was sure it would be so but I wanted you to know anyway. Didn't I ever tell you that I have the grand total of 35 priceless points 24 for months in service , 5 for battle star. 6 for time over seas Ill have a few more when they add them up again.
